Maria A. Polsinelli
Vice President

Maria Anna Polsinelli serves as Vice President of the Southeast Michigan Chamber of Commerce, focused on strengthening member engagement, expanding regional influence, and supporting a dynamic network of more than 1,000 members. She plays a key role in advancing initiatives that connect business leaders, nonprofit organizations, and government officials to support economic development and community impact across Southeast Michigan.
As a member of the executive leadership team, Maria helps build high-value relationships, aligns strategic partnerships, and creates opportunities that deliver meaningful results for members and the broader community. Through targeted outreach, strategic initiatives, program development, and high-impact member events, she helps position SMCC as a trusted connector and advocate within the regional business community. She is recognized for her ability to bring people together and drive engagement that delivers lasting value.
Maria brings more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry, where she held leadership roles across sales, loan processing, underwriting, and office administration. Her background in financing, business development, and client relations provides a strong foundation for supporting businesses and professionals across the Chamber network. A lifelong resident of Macomb County, Maria is deeply committed to service and community engagement. The daughter of Italian immigrants, she was shaped by her Catholic education at St. Anne Elementary and Bishop Foley High School. She has been actively involved in volunteer efforts over the years, including church service as an usher, greeter, and catechism instructor; prison ministry as a pen pal; and hosting Bible studies. She currently serves as a board member for Hearts For Hope & the Warren Police and Fire Benevolent Association—reflecting her ongoing commitment to strengthening the community she serves.
