Networking Luncheons

We connect local businesses with key municipal decision-makers to foster stronger relationships and create opportunities for growth. Our Government Relations Services provide direct access to officials, bid opportunities, and guidance through the bid process to ensure our members can compete and thrive in the local economy.

The Room Where Southeast Michigan Does Business

The Southeast Michigan Chamber of Commerce Networking Luncheon is the region's premier business event, drawing 500 or more business owners, executives, elected officials, and community leaders to the table at some of Metro Detroit's finest venues — including Andiamo in Warren and Zuccaro's in Chesterfield. Hosted five times per year, each luncheon is a full-morning experience beginning with open networking from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a seated lunch and program from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. — giving attendees two full hours to build the kind of relationships that move businesses forward. With a membership ecosystem that spans 57 communities and reaches more than one million Michigan residents, the room at any given luncheon is one of the most concentrated gatherings of business decision-makers in the entire state.

A Stage for the Conversations That Matter

What sets the Chamber luncheon apart is not just the size of the room — it is what happens in it. Each event features high-profile guest speakers who drive real conversation around topics that matter to the business community, from policy and economic development to leadership and community investment. Recent luncheons have welcomed United States Senate Candidate Mike Rogers, Michigan Gubernatorial Candidate Perry Johnson, Former Detroit Governor Mike Duggan, Sterling Heights Mayor Michael Taylor, and congressional candidates from across the region.

A Platform for Community Impact

Community giving is a foundational part of every Chamber luncheon — not an afterthought, but a core expression of what this organization stands for. Since inception, the Chamber has facilitated more than $1 million in contributions to nonprofits, schools, and community organizations across Southeast Michigan, with each luncheon serving as a platform to put those dollars to work. That commitment reached a historic level through the Chamber's relationship with United Way of Southeastern Michigan and the Ballmer Group — whose Summer Discovery Grant program, championed by Chamber CEO John Johnson, resulted in a $1.4 million award to Chesterfield Township and Anchor Bay Schools, followed by a $6 million distribution to Utica Community Schools announced live from our June 2026 luncheon stage. When we say the Chamber exists to serve the community, this is what that looks like in practice.

The Room You Need to Be In

The luncheon is not just a place to hand out business cards — it is where members have landed their first major client, connected with elected officials, found their next hire, and discovered their next partner. If you are serious about growing your business in Southeast Michigan, this is the room you need to be in.
