About the Chamber

Rooted in the historic Gratiot corridor, the Gratiot Avenue Chamber of Commerce (GACC) is the original foundation of what is now the Southeast Michigan Chamber of Commerce. Initially formed through a partnership between the Gratiot Avenue Business Association and the Macomb First Business Alliance, the Chamber officially launched in 2015 and now represents nine communities along the corridor and more than 350,000 residents.

GACC is known for uniting business leaders, government officials, and community organizations to advocate for investment and revitalization along one of Macomb County’s most vital commercial arteries. As an SMCC affiliate, it offers members access to a broad suite of benefits, including B2B marketing, discounted services, and issue-based advocacy. The Chamber has been a proud supporter of local nonprofits and major events such as the North Gratiot Cruise and MCREST, helping channel resources into causes that matter. With a proven record of success, the Gratiot Avenue Chamber continues to lead with purpose, community spirit, and a commitment to regional progress.
