On October 31, 2024, the Southeast Michigan Chamber of Commerce had the honor of having our COO, John Long, collaborate with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to host a roundtable discussion on Michigan’s economy. The event, which took place during a John James endorsement rally, brought together key figures to discuss economic policies that promote growth and job creation in the state.

 

During the event, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce endorsed Rep. John James for re-election in Michigan’s Tenth Congressional District. The endorsement recognized James for his leadership as a combat veteran, job creator, and advocate for free enterprise. Both the U.S. Chamber and Michigan Chamber of Commerce praised his commitment to supporting businesses and promoting economic prosperity.

 

The Southeast Michigan Chamber Political Action Coalition endorsed Rep. James for his dedication to economic development and his active involvement in the district. His continued efforts to secure resources for local projects, especially in the nonprofit sector, were key factors in our support. We are excited to have been part of this important event and continue to advocate for the prosperity of our region.
