The Southeast Michigan Chamber of Commerce proudly celebrated the grand opening of El Car Wash’s third Michigan location on Saturday, July 12, with an exciting ribbon-cutting ceremony at 29511 Mound Road in Warren. Warren Mayor Lori Stone joined the celebration, highlighting the importance of continued business growth in the community.

As the Official Car Wash of the Detroit Lions, El Car Wash made the day extra special by bringing out the Lions cheer squad and Roary the Mascot, much to the delight of attendees. The event featured live music from DJ Ray Yadig, a radio remote pop-up with Kevin Irwin from Mojo in the Morning, and complimentary treats from Jet’s Pizza, Crumbl Cookies, Chick-fil-A, Meadowbrook Ice Cream Company, and more. Guests also enjoyed free car washes all day, adding to the festive atmosphere.

El Car Wash used the event as an opportunity to give back to the community, pledging to donate $1 to Forgotten Harvest for every car that went through the wash tunnel over opening weekend. This grand opening wasn’t just a celebration of business growth—it was a true community event, bringing together families, local businesses, and Detroit Lions fans for a day of fun, food, and philanthropy.
