Cruisin’ 53 roared back into Center Line and Warren on Sunday, June 1, 2025, delivering a high-octane celebration of classic cars, community spirit, and charitable giving. Held at Ed Rinke Chevrolet Buick on Van Dyke, the event drew over 100 stunning vehicles and hundreds of local residents, raising thousands of dollars for local nonprofits. UAW Region 1 served as the presenting sponsor, with support from the Southeast Michigan Chamber of Commerce, Warren Community Foundation, and Warren Center Line Chamber of Commerce.

 

Event Highlights

Car Show & Parade: The day kicked off with an 8:30 AM check-in, followed by a festive car parade along Van Dyke at 11:30 AM. Enthusiasts lined the streets to admire a diverse array of classic and modern vehicles.

Awards Ceremony: At 4:00 PM, winners were announced in Stock, Modified, and Best in Show categories, with a total of $2,200 in prizes awarded. A new addition this year was the “UAW Region 1 Sponsor’s Choice Trophy,” recognizing outstanding entries.

Family Activities: Attendees enjoyed live music, a cornhole tournament, vendor tables, a craft fair, a Kids Zone, and a variety of food trucks, making it a day of fun for all ages.
