Jason Carr Rolls Camera at Ale Mary’s for Chamber’s New Culinary Club

The Southeast Michigan Chamber of Commerce is excited to debut a brand-new video initiative supporting local restaurants — and the very first feature is now live.
Detroit media veteran Jason Carr, known for his vibrant personality and deep community ties, recently visited Ale Mary’s Beer Hall in downtown Royal Oak to film the first segment in this growing series. The result? A lively, behind-the-scenes look at one of Royal Oak’s favorite dining spots — featuring delicious brews, scratch-made food, and the team behind it all.
The video is part of a new collaboration between Carr and the Chamber’s Culinary Club, created to spotlight independent restaurants throughout Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties. These short-form features offer authentic, locally rooted exposure for businesses looking to grow their visibility through modern, story-driven content.
Carr’s video from Ale Mary’s is already making waves, having been shared across some of Southeast Michigan’s largest and most engaged Facebook communities — including St. Clair Shores Michigan Residents (66K members) and Make Macomb Your Home (31K members). With an established following of more than 100,000, Carr brings a ready-made audience to every featured location.
Next up: Carr has filmed another segment at New Little India in Shelby Township, with several more shoots already on the calendar.
