The Southeast Michigan Chamber of Commerce proudly celebrated the grand opening of BA Salon Collective in Shelby Township on Friday, May 30, 2025, with a vibrant and engaging ribbon cutting and art showcase event. Presented by the Women’s Business Alliance, this celebration drew a strong turnout of Chamber members, local residents, and community leaders—including Shelby Township Supervisor Rick Stathakis and representatives from Congressman John James’ office. Guests were welcomed with free walking tacos, service giveaways, and a goodie bag valued at $25 for the first 25 attendees, creating a fun and festive kickoff to an exciting new business in the Chamber.

Following networking and mingling, the official ribbon cutting took place at 12:15 PM, honoring BA Salon Collective and its founder Naomi Trotto, whose creative leadership was on full display throughout the venue. The day continued with an indoor art showcase and sale, featuring local artwork, editorial magazine collage walls, vintage-inspired installations, and a stunning 9-foot cinematic hair sculpture inspired by Netflix’s Wednesday. Salon stylists also presented personal brand story displays, offering attendees a unique opportunity to experience the artistry and inspiration behind the salon’s vision.
